Utkarsh Jain was born in 2002 to first-generation Indian immigrants. The

American Dream is what brought his parents over from India and what

inspires to strive for excellence. His passion for public service started early.

From his years in school, he has organized students from all grade levels.

From establishing voter registration events for first-time voters to running

mock elections, Utkarsh’s political career has always focused on education

and activating the community to enact change. His parents have instilled in

him three key values – honoring God, serving his country, and taking care of

his family.

Utkarsh joined the Berkeley College Republicans as soon as he arrived at UC Berkeley 2021. Through his leadership as Vice President, Utkarsh has been able to re-ignite the conservative movement on the most liberal campus in America. He has made being a conservative cool again! He was also elected as the Executive Director and National Committeeman for the California College Republicans and now serves as the Special Advisor to the Chairman.

Lastly, but most importantly, Utkarsh was elected as the Treasurer of the

Alameda County Republican Party, the youngest to be elected in the nation.

Whenever Utkarsh has a free moment, he enjoys plane-spotting at various

airports, hiking the beautiful trails in Berkeley, reading about a variety of

subjects, and spending time with his family and friends.
